We're about to start a bold experiment, framed as a game. In this game, participants will enter a strange new world — a world without traditional systems: no contracts, no corporations, and no money. Instead, we can rely on smart contracts, AI, cycles and decentralized tools. The million dollar question is: can we self-organize, and spark the Reboot?
Reboot is a collective movement whose goal is to give birth to a self-sustaining, decentralized network that enables entrepreneurs, developers, and community members to collaborate without requiring the use of legal agreements, corporate structures, centralized management, or even the exchange of currencies by leveraging new tools and concepts such as smart-contracts, cycles, open economy, artificial intelligence, and decentralized entrepreneurship.
This litepaper summarises key information about one organization that aims to establish foundations for this movement: Hello, Reboot!, and our upcoming SNS sale.

TL;DR
We are launching an innovative Web3 incubator to solve core problems of the Web3 industry:
- Problems
- Misalignment of Traditional Models with Web3 Ecosystems: Traditional funding models for startups do not work well for building successful Web3 ecosystems. The high failure rate of 90% for startups leads to a lot of wasted money and lost talent. In contrast, helping to create a thriving ecosystem benefits all the teams involved, resulting in a win-win situation. Right now, there is no Web3-specific framework that allows entrepreneurs to try out new business models, which leads to conflicts between traditional corporate practices and the principles of Web3. This often results in the industry copying outdated hierarchies and centralized systems, which goes against the core idea of decentralization.
- Insufficient Support for Open Internet Services and Collaborative Development: Open Internet Services are essential tools and platforms that allow different projects to communicate and work together. These services include protocols for data sharing, identity management, and payment systems that enable interoperability between various applications. Unfortunately, they are badly underfunded, which makes it difficult for applications and ecosystems to be compatible. Our industry needs better ways to fund these services and support entrepreneurs through mentorship, resources sharing and collaborative development.
- Ineffective DAO Structures and Participation Models: Many Decentralized Autonomous Organizations are overly complex and inefficient, often prioritizing secondary features like voting systems and proposal management over their primary function as effective networks of people, projects and capital. By imposing rigid structures on evolving systems, we limiting exploration and innovation. Our industry needs more flexible, community-driven approaches to project development and funding that allow diverse organizational structures to adapt to changing needs.
- The project evolves from Motoko Bootcamp, a successful Web3 developer program. Its aim is to support the inception of a decentralized network called Reboot, where entrepreneurs, developers and community members can collaborate without requiring the use of traditional corporate structures, legal agreement or even using currencies!
- The main components of this initiative are:
- Motoko Bootcamp: An educational program for onboarding developers into Reboot.
- Buildcamps: Collaborative development events to create foundational infrastructure for Reboot.
- Open Internet Saga: A global educational tour.
- Hello, Reboot! introduces a novel Open Incubator model, encouraging participants to contribute tokens from projects developed during the programs back to our treasury. This system doesn’t require any legal agreement between the organization and our students.
- The organisation will utilize $BOOT tokens for governance and utility, which will be available through an upcoming SNS swap.
- The vision is to create a gamified, decentralized ecosystem that transforms participants into active contributors and redefines entrepreneurship in Web3.
- The organization is seeking funding to accelerate growth, with the goal of reaching 50,000 Reboot citizens by 2027.
Wtf is Reboot (in 1 minute)?
If you have only one minute to give - here is the deal.
We’re about to launch a large-scale experiment framed as a game, where Motoko Bootcamp students will transform into canisters and attempt to self-organize—without relying on legal agreements, corporate structures, or even currencies. Instead, they will leverage tools like smart contracts, canisters, cycles, AI, and frameworks like Open Value Sharing or Open Incubation.
We’re releasing an updated version of Motoko Bootcamp, which will serve as the primary onboarding path for this experiment. During the camp, developers will deploy their own canisters and complete a series of challenges to gain a foundational understanding of the game’s mechanics and rules. Upon completion, they will receive a certificate of citizenship in Reboot.
