Planning and conducting a session at OIS

As a participant you’re invited to engage with the community by hosting a session! Here is a step-by-step guide

1. Get on the calendar:

To schedule your session, first send a message with your em@il to Elie so he can add you to the Google Calendar. You can contact him via:

2. Schedule your session:

Once you have the necessary permissions, you can add your session anytime to the calendar (be sure to add it from the Open Internet calendar and not your personal calendar!). Use one of the following links to create your event (be sure to add a description for your session) :

Note: there are three links to ensure that if another session is happening at the same time, you can use a different room.

Important: schedule your session at least 24 hours in advance AND don’t plan a session that last more than 1hour. If that has to last more than an hour then

your sessions should look like this :

3. Promote your session:

After scheduling your session, please write a message in the Discord channel #🏎💨︱hype-station so we can announce your event. We will retweet your promotional content and make announcements on Discord to increase visibility.

Suggestion: Create a short video about your session and share it on Twitter. OIS will help by retweeting to reach a wider audience. Make sure to include all relevant details in the #🏎💨︱hype-station channel.
